Since joining Fish in 2003 and doubling the size of the agency, Nate has partnered with dozens of travel, tourism and lifestyle brands. He enjoys helping companies formulate strategies to achieve results and grow their market share. Nate holds degrees in both Marketing and Advertising Management. You might find him savoring a local IPA, IPL, ISA, IIPA, and other acronyms that stand for incredibly hoppy malt water.

Courtenay Hameister
Associate Creative Director
Courtenay brings more years of marketing experience than she’d like to admit to Fish—for ad agencies and for Live Wire, a nationally-syndicated radio variety show for which she acted as host, Head Writer, and De-Facto-Head-of-Marketing-Because-No-One-Else-Wanted-To-Do-It for twelve years. She’s worked for a diverse client base over the years, from Disney to Nike to Microsoft and some high-tech clients whose products do things she has purposefully forgotten to make room in her brain for fun stuff.

Lacey Hinkle
Director of Brand Partnerships
Lacey is passionate about branding and loves working with a diverse group of clients. For over a decade, she has served as a client advocate working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to develop authentic brands and successful marketing campaigns. Lacey is also a native Oregonian and holds a B.A. in International Affairs & Political Economy from Lewis & Clark College.

Katie Gosline
Digital Director
Born and raised in Billings, Montana, Katie graduated from the University of Montana in Missoula, with a B.S. in Business Marketing. Katie joined Fish on the account side, serving as an Account Coordinator and Manager for two years. Switching her focus and skill to the digital arena, Katie is now Inbound Director, where she leads social media and a multitude of digital marketing campaigns.

Roxy Parr
VP of Squeaky Toy Destruction
When Roxy comes into the office each day, she greets every employee with a smile on her face and a cold nose somewhere inappropriate. She gives 110% to obliterating her squeaky toys and expects nothing less from the rest of the Fish crew. She’s also really good at finding slivers of sunlight to nap in.

Susan Beall
Senior Project Manager
Susan brings over 15 years of senior-level marketing experience to the table, both in-house and in the agency world. If she seems like a familiar face, that’s because she’s been with us before on the account management side, and we’re thrilled to have her back. Susan’s passions are driving results for businesses, being a mom, kite surfing and swimming with sharks (literally). Her best year yet was spent traveling the world with her 3 year-old son.

A natural born puzzle-solver who holds a degree in Economics from Leland’s Farm, David brings an efficient, analytical eye to every project. Angela Tait
Media Director
Angela grew up in Oregon and graduated from U of O with a double major in English and Political Science. Working in media since January 2000, she loves every aspect of it—making all the puzzle pieces fit, strategy, creative problem-solving and (responsibly) spending other people’s money to help grow their business. Passionate about travel, cooking and football, she was overjoyed that her first job at Fish was placing a Superbowl ad.

Michael McCrary
Art Director
A native Texan, Michael received his BA in Graphic Design from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. In an effort to flee the heat, he moved to Portland in 2012 and has been designing for local agencies ever since. He comes to Fish with a rich background in developing meaningful creative work for a wide variety of brands and industries. On weekends, you can find him traipsing one of the Northwest’s trails channeling his inner Ansel Adams.

Laurie Richings
Controller
Laurie is continuing what was an eight-year career at Fish—she’s back after a brief two-year hiatus and we couldn’t be happier. She brings a BA in English and over 25 years experience in agency accounting to the table, as well as a love of travel, hiking, gardening and an outsized love of dogs. (The Fish cabal of canines very much appreciate her treats and are glad to have her back.)

Alex Brauer
Brand Director
Alex brings a niche for all things outdoor-related to Fish Marketing. His knowledge is beyond compare as are his copywriting and account management skills. At Fish he is a rare hybrid, balancing a portfolio of boating and fishing accounts while orchestrating strategic planning for a wide spectrum of other clients. Alex previously owned BDC Advertising where he was Creative Director and President for 20 years.

Sully Buns
PAWject Manager
Sully can be found roaming the Fish office, clumsily seeking out new toys to add to his impressive collection. In his spare time, he enjoys sleeping in odd places, pestering the other office dogs to play, or getting in an aggressive chase with his tail, which always seems to surprise him.

John Robles
Digital Marketing Manager
John has been crafting successful digital campaigns for clients for nearly half a decade. Before joining Fish, John was an independent digital marketing consultant specializing in Paid Social, PPC, SEM, and SEO. Prior to consulting, John led the marketing team at a media company working with top agencies and Fortune 500 clients. When John’s not working, you can find him biking around Portland or going on adventures with his adorable rescue dog, Bingo.

Scott Wilder
Brand Manager
Originally from Ashland, Oregon, Scott moved to Portland to attend Portland State University, where he obtained his business degree with a focus in Marketing. Scott originally began at Fish as an intern but has since taken on the role of brand manager, supporting clients and the team wherever needed. Outside of the office, Scott enjoys spending time with his golden retriever, Ellie. The two of them can often be found exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest or enjoying the many restaurants and bars that Portland has to offer.

Poppy Wilder
Digital Barketing Coordinator
Poppy comes into the office each day with a fresh PAWspective on digital BARKeting strategies. Though she’s yet to actually pass any sort of Google certification, she is PAWsitive that she should be rewarded at her next performance review. When she’s not laying down digital strategy at Fish, she can be found chasing tail at Sandy River Delta.

Marketing & Office Coordinator
Born and raised in Homer, Alaska, Maggie has left the snow and put roots down in Portland. Maggie received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Oregon State University (go Beavs!), and fell in love with Oregon. Although she studied Marketing, Maggie is excited to learn and grow in the professional industry of advertising and marketing. She loves interacting with people and is always wanting to collaborate! If she’s not in the office you can find her drinking a beer, listening to a podcast, or doing some sort of rambunctious activity with her friends.
