Ashland Bay Re-branding and Website



Ashland Bay is a wholesale provider offering North America's largest selection of exceptional dyed fibers, ecru fibers and yarns. In just 20 years, the company grew from a hobby to the industry's largest supplier of fiber for spinning, dyeing, blending, and weaving. However, Ashland Bay's brand and web presence still reflected its homespun roots.

Fish Marketing created a new brand identity, tagline, and will launch a new digital presence in the spring.


Yard, Garden, & Patio Show TV Spot

The Yard, Garden & Patio Show is Portland's largest and most prestigious garden show, celebrating the joy of outdoor living. Fish aided in revitalizing the show with a new logo, "Bring Life Outside" theme, and enhanced social media presence.

Fish Marketing then put together a media plan that leveraged media sponsorships to deliver a 3.5 to 1 value on their budget. Take a look at the TV and print creative.

Karen Kemp
Creative Director


After a long and happy freelance relationship, we just made it official. Karen Kemp has joined the staff of Fish Marketing as our Creative Director. Karen studied Journalism at the University of Oregon, graduating in the top five percent of her class. Almost immediately afterwards, she began writing at the in-house ad agency of a major Northwest retailer. Later, she landed at one of Portland's largest and oldest agencies, rising from Senior Copywriter to Creative Director.

Interactive Designer


Dan originally hails from the icy northern state of Michigan. During the dark and cold winters, Dan honed his craft in User Interface Design and Web Development. A seasoned hunter of wolverines and a veteran of Fish Marketing's interactive design team, Dan provides both design and development support to client websites.
